India has experienced a 44% increase in intellectual property (IP) filings over the past five years, attributed to significant policy reforms and digitization efforts. Geographical Indications (GI) saw a remarkable 380% growth, while startups and MSMEs benefited from substantial fee reductions and expedited services. The modernization of the IP ecosystem has led to 95% of filings being conducted online, enhancing accessibility and efficiency.
