Under 'Operation RAGEPILL', the Narcotics Control Bureau intercepted a transnational drug trafficking network, seizing approximately 227.7 kg of Captagon tablets and powder in India, marking the country's first-ever seizure of the psychotropic substance often referred to as the 'Jihadi Drug'. A Syrian national linked to the syndicate was arrested. The operation underscores India's zero-tolerance policy towards drug trafficking and reinforces international cooperation in tackling transnational narcotics operations.
