India Sends 34 Students to Japan for Sakura Science Programme
The Ministry of Education has flagged off 34 students from India to participate in the Sakura Science Programme in Japan, aimed at fostering scientific exploration and cultural exchange. The initiative, part of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, emphasizes experiential learning and educational trips. The students, selected from various states, will engage with Japan's advanced technology and culture from August 17 to August 23, 2025. The program aims to broaden their intellectual horizons and strengthen bilateral ties between India and Japan.
