India Sets Ambitious Coal Production Targets Amidst Environmental Efforts

The Ministry of Coal in India has set a target of producing 1157 million tonnes of raw coal for 2025-26, with Coal India Ltd assigned 875 million tonnes. By 2029-30, the aim is 1.5 billion tonnes, amidst strict environmental compliance.
