India Signs MoU with ILO to Enhance Global Employment Opportunities
The Government of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to develop the 'International Reference Classification of Occupations'. This collaboration aims to facilitate youth in accessing global employment opportunities and help Indian workers integrate into international labor markets. Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya emphasized the importance of this partnership in addressing skill shortages and enhancing labor market efficiency through digital innovation. The initiative is expected to create over 35 million jobs in the formal sector and position India as a global hub for education and skilling.
