On September 4, 2025, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong discussed the roadmap for a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) during Wong's official visit to India. This year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The leaders agreed to enhance cooperation in eight key areas: Economic Cooperation, Skills Development, Digitalisation, Sustainability, Connectivity, Healthcare, People-to-People Exchanges, and Defence. They also institutionalized the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable to monitor the CSP's implementation.
