The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has commenced a five-day Knowledge Exchange Workshop at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi to foster Health Technology Assessment (HTA) cooperation between India and Sri Lanka. This workshop aims to enhance strategic pathways for HTA institutionalization in Sri Lanka, promoting bilateral healthcare diplomacy and knowledge exchange. The event is organized by the Department of Health Research, Government of India, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, highlighting the efforts of HTAIn in ensuring evidence-based health interventions across the region. The workshop will cover a range of topics including institutional frameworks, governance, methodologies, pricing, and procurement of HTA.
