India Strengthens Small Scale Fisheries with New EEZ Rules

The initiative aims to enhance seafood exports, promote sustainable fishing practices, and provide comprehensive support to fishers through training and access to credit. The rules also include measures to curb harmful fishing practices and ensure the safety and security of fishermen and vessels in deep-sea operations.
