India-UAE CEPA Joint Committee Celebrates $100 Billion Trade Milestone
India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) convened the third Joint Committee meeting under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in New Delhi. Co-chaired by Shri Ajay Bhadoo and H.E Juma Al Kait, the meeting celebrated bilateral trade surpassing USD 100 billion for FY 2024-25, marking a 19.6% increase. The session involved detailed discussions on market access, Gold TRQ allocation, anti-dumping, and regulatory cooperation, with commitments to enhance non-oil trade to USD 100 billion by 2030. The renewed focus aims to strengthen strategic partnerships and facilitate trade and regulatory cooperation between the nations.
