Indian and Royal Thai Air Forces Conduct Joint Exercise in Indian Ocean
The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) conducted an air combat training exercise in the Indian Ocean Region between 09 and 12 February 2026. The exercise featured Su-30MKI fighter jets from the IAF and SAAB Gripen jets from the RTAF, supported by IAF mid-air refuelling tankers and AWACS aircraft. The exercise aimed to strengthen military cooperation and mutual understanding between India and Thailand, showcasing enhanced interoperability and operational reach in a maritime environment.
