Indian Army Contingent Departs for Austrahind 2025
An Indian Army contingent of 120 personnel has departed for Irwin Barracks, Perth, Australia, to participate in the fourth edition of the India-Australia joint military exercise AUSTRAHIND 2025, scheduled from October 13 to 26, 2025. Led by a Battalion of Gorkha Rifles, the exercise aims to enhance military cooperation, improve interoperability, and provide a platform for exchanging tactics in sub-conventional warfare.
