Indian Naval Ship Trikand, a stealth frigate, completed its port call at Alexandria, Egypt on September 11, 2025, during its deployment in the Mediterranean Sea. The ship participated in Exercise Bright Star 2025, a multilateral exercise aimed at enhancing regional security and cooperation, alongside forces from the USA, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Greece, and Italy. During the port call, INS Trikand engaged in discussions, cultural exchanges, and planning for the sea phase of the exercise, which tested naval operational capabilities.
