Indian Naval Ships Visit Strengthens Ties with Sri Lanka

Three Indian Naval Ships, LCU 51, LCU 54, and LCU 57, made a port call in Colombo, Sri Lanka from November 22 to 25, 2025. They were warmly welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy. During the visit, Indian naval officials met with Sri Lankan officials to discuss operational interoperability and future collaborations. The visit included a friendly volleyball match to foster camaraderie, and ship tours for Sri Lankan navy personnel to learn about the Indian ships' capabilities. This visit further enhanced the cooperative relationship between the Indian Navy and the Sri Lanka Navy, reinforcing mutual respect and collaboration.
