Indian Navy Receives Fourth Anti-Submarine Craft: 'Agray'

The Indian Navy has taken delivery of 'Agray,' the fourth Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata. This delivery marks a significant step in India's indigenous shipbuilding efforts under the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiative. The advanced shallow water craft, equipped with waterjets, modern torpedoes, rocket launchers, and SONAR, enhances the navy's anti-submarine, mine-warfare capabilities, and coastal surveillance. 'Agray' follows the tradition of its predecessor, INS Agray, thus maintaining the legacy of distinguished naval names.
