The Indian Navy is set to commission 'Ikshak', its third indigenously built Survey Vessel (Large), on November 6, 2025, at Naval Base Kochi. The vessel, built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers, features over 80% indigenous content and is designed for hydrographic survey operations as well as humanitarian assistance.
