Indian Navy's First Training Squadron Visits Mozambique

The First Training Squadron (1TS) of the Indian Navy, consisting of INS Tir, INS Shardul, INS Sujata, and ICGS Sarathi, arrived in Maputo, Mozambique on September 16, 2025. This visit celebrates 50 years of diplomatic relations between India and Mozambique. Over four days, the squadron will engage in joint training activities with the Mozambique Navy, including VBSS training, navigation procedures, and firefighting training. The visit also includes courtesy calls and socio-cultural engagements, highlighting the growing maritime cooperation between the two nations.
