Indian Parliamentary Delegation to Attend Commonwealth Conference in Barbados

Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla will lead the Indian Parliamentary Delegation at the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Bridgetown, Barbados from October 5-12, 2025. An inter-ministerial meeting was held to brief the delegation on conference events. The delegation will include the Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha and Presiding Officers from various states. Shri Birla will address the General Assembly on the theme 'The Commonwealth: A Global Partner' and participate in seven thematic workshops focusing on democracy, technology, climate change, and governance.
