Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission Enhances Medicine Safety and Rational Use Across Multiple Indian States

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the state pharmacy councils of Bihar, Maharashtra, and Mizoram. Aimed at improving medicine safety, rational drug use, and pharmacovigilance, the initiative will also facilitate adverse drug reaction reporting and set up monitoring centers. The collaboration will include training programs and efforts to incorporate the National Formulary of India as a key reference for pharmacists.
