Indian Railways Expands Network with New Projects

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved three new multi-tracking projects for the Indian Railways, extending its network by 307 kilometers across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand, with an estimated completion by 2030-31 at a cost of Rs 9,072 crore. These projects aim to significantly increase connectivity and operational efficiency while enhancing regional development and tourism.
