Indian Railways Launches Extensive Summer Special Trains for 2026
Indian Railways will operate 18,262 summer special train trips from April 15 to July 15, 2026, to meet increased travel demand during the peak season. Already, 11,294 trips have been notified. Zones like Central Railway, East Central Railway, and North Western Railway will execute the most special trips. These efforts aim to enhance connectivity, reduce waitlists, and ensure smooth journeys for passengers.
