Indian Railways is set to launch two new weekly Amrit Bharat Express trains connecting Uttar Pradesh with Maharashtra via Madhya Pradesh. The Banaras-Pune (Hadapsar) and Ayodhya-Mumbai (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) services aim to enhance regional connectivity, cater to low- and middle-income families, and provide direct links between key spiritual and cultural cities in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate these services on April 28, 2026. The trains feature up-to-date amenities focused on safety and passenger comfort.
