Indian Railways' OSOP Initiative Boosts Local Artisans
The Indian Railways' One Station One Product (OSOP) scheme has expanded to 2,002 stations, providing a marketplace for local artisans and promoting traditional crafts. Since its inception in 2022, OSOP has empowered approximately 1.32 lakh artisans by offering direct access to millions of railway passengers, revitalizing crafts like pottery and bamboo work, alongside spices and handlooms, enhancing both community livelihood and passenger experience.
