Indian Railways Prepares for Post-Chhath Puja Travel Rush

Indian Railways is set to operate 6,181 special trains to facilitate the return of passengers after Chhath Puja. Additional coaches and weather-proof holding areas have been established at major stations in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh to manage the festive rush. The railways are enhancing passenger convenience with more ticketing facilities and playing devotional Chhath songs at stations. Safety measures include deploying Railway Protection Force and setting up 24x7 medical booths for passenger assistance.
