Indian Railways Supports Kashmir Apple Growers with New Parcel Train Service

Indian Railways has initiated the loading of fresh apples from Kashmir to Delhi, using two parcel vans, each carrying 23 metric tonnes. A daily parcel train service will commence on September 13, enhancing connectivity for apple growers. More wagons will be added if demand increases, and the service aims to facilitate timely delivery to the Delhi market.
