India's Commitment to Climate Resilience and Pollution Control

The Government of India is actively addressing climate change through various initiatives, including the National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC) and the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP). These programs focus on adaptation and mitigation strategies across multiple sectors such as agriculture, energy, and waste management. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is enhancing pollution monitoring and management through real-time systems and guidelines for water quality and waste management. A significant tree-planting campaign, 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam', has also been launched, resulting in the planting of 1.64 billion trees.
