India's Export Growth in April-August 2025

India's cumulative exports (merchandise and services) from April to August 2025 reached an estimated US$ 349.35 billion, marking a 6.18% increase from the previous year. Merchandise exports alone totaled US$ 184.13 billion, up 2.52%, with significant contributions from electronic goods, engineering goods, gems and jewellery, petroleum products, and pharmaceuticals. In August 2025, total exports were estimated at US$ 69.16 billion, a 9.34% increase year-on-year, while imports decreased by 7% to US$ 79.04 billion, resulting in a trade balance of -US$ 9.88 billion.
