India's Export Growth in April-July 2025
India's cumulative exports (merchandise and services) from April to July 2025 are estimated at $277.63 billion, reflecting a growth of 5.23% compared to the same period in 2024. Merchandise exports reached $149.20 billion, up 3.07%, with significant contributions from engineering goods, electronic goods, gems and jewellery, and pharmaceuticals. Total imports during this period were estimated at $308.91 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of $31.28 billion. In July 2025 alone, total exports were $68.27 billion, marking a 4.52% increase from July 2024, while imports rose to $79.99 billion, a 6.07% increase.
