Under the India AI Mission, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has launched major initiatives such as the Cancer AI & Technology Challenge (CATCH) Grant Program, the ‘Strategy for AI in Healthcare in India’ (SAHI), and the ‘Benchmarking Open Data Platform for Health AI’ (BODH) to promote AI-enabled cancer screening, diagnostics, and care solutions. These initiatives are set to enhance India's healthcare sector by enabling safe and responsible AI integration and providing developers with necessary resources to implement AI technologies effectively.
