India's Indigenous Space Experiments Aboard ISS
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh celebrated the successful docking of the Dragon spacecraft with the ISS, carrying Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla. He highlighted seven indigenous microgravity experiments developed by Indian institutes, aimed at enhancing space sustainability and contributing to global scientific knowledge. These experiments focus on areas such as edible microalgae, seed germination, muscle loss, tardigrades, human interaction with technology, cyanobacteria growth, and seed resilience, marking India's emergence as a leader in space biosciences.
