India's Initiative to Combat Cyber Crime
The Ministry of Home Affairs in India has initiated a comprehensive scheme to bolster the capacity of state agencies in controlling cyber crimes. This initiative includes the establishment of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), the launch of the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, and several other platforms designed to aid in reporting, investigating, and preventing cyber crimes. Key features include the Cyber Fraud Mitigation Centre, the Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System, and the Cyber Commando program.
