At the G20 Energy Transitions Ministerial Meeting in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal emphasized India's commitment to energy security and sustainability. He highlighted India's achievements in clean energy, including reaching its NDC target of 50% non-fossil fuel capacity ahead of schedule, and reaffirmed support for Africa's Mission 300 to electrify 300 million Africans by 2030. The Minister called for global cooperation in building equitable energy systems and announced the upcoming Bharat Urja Manthan conclave in March 2026.
