India's Leadership in Wetlands Conservation at COP15

He highlighted India's expansion of Ramsar Wetlands by 250% over the past decade, establishing the largest network in Asia with 91 sites. The minister also discussed community mobilization efforts under initiatives like Mission Sahbhagita and the Save Wetlands Campaign, which engaged over 2 million citizens. He called for sustainable lifestyles and emphasized the importance of legal frameworks for wetland conservation.
