India's Ministry of Textiles Implements Measures to Stabilize Cotton Prices

The Ministry of Textiles in India has introduced several strategies to stabilize cotton prices and shield textile sectors from global price volatility. Key measures include the elimination of an 11% import duty on cotton until the end of 2025, and the implementation of Minimum Support Prices (MSP) to safeguard farmers.
