India's MSMEs Register Growth on Udyam Portal

Over 7.83 crore MSMEs have registered on the Udyam Registration Portal (URP) and Udyam Assist Platform (UAP) since 2020, reflecting a significant growth trend. These registrations are part of the government's efforts to promote the development of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises sector by offering a range of schemes to improve access to finance and facilitate innovation and competitiveness. The recent Budget announcement introduced several measures to enable easier access to institutional credit for these enterprises.
