India's Pharma Exports Set to Surpass $30 Billion
India's pharmaceutical exports, currently valued at approximately $27.8 billion, are projected to exceed $30 billion by the end of this year, according to Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology. The domestic pharma market, valued at $60 billion, is expected to double to $130 billion by 2030. A recent MoU between the Department of Biotechnology and the Uttar Pradesh government aims to enhance innovation and investment in the pharma, biotech, and MedTech sectors, with a focus on research, skill development, and startup support.
