India's Sustainable Aviation Fuel Feasibility Report Unveiled
The Ministry of Civil Aviation, in collaboration with ICAO and the EU, has released a feasibility study on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in India. Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu emphasized SAF's role in decarbonizing aviation, targeting 1% blending by 2027 and 5% by 2030. The report outlines India's potential to become a global leader in SAF production, leveraging its biomass resources and agricultural residues.
