India's Tourism Ministry Approves 40 New Projects Under SASCI

The Ministry of Tourism in India has approved 40 projects worth Rs. 3295.76 crore under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme. This initiative aims to develop iconic tourist centers and promote them globally. Projects are sanctioned based on proposals submitted by state governments, considering factors such as connectivity, tourism ecosystem, and sustainability.
