INS Tarangini's Training Visit to Sri Lanka Strengthens Maritime Ties

The Indian Navy's Sail Training Ship, INS Tarangini, reached Trincomalee Harbour, Sri Lanka on February 27, 2026, following its participation in the International Fleet Review 2026 in Visakhapatnam. The visit aims to enhance cooperation between the Indian and Sri Lankan navies through engagements and training exchanges. Trainee officers from the Sri Lankan Naval and Maritime Academy will join Tarangini on its voyage to Colombo for hands-on sail training. This visit highlights the enduring and growing maritime relations between the two nations.
