INSV Kaundinya's Historical Voyage Revives India-Oman Maritime Relations
The Indian Naval Sailing Vessel INSV Kaundinya completed its maiden voyage to Muscat, Oman, symbolizing the longstanding maritime relationship between India and Oman. This expedition serves to commemorate over 5,000 years of shared history and 70 years of diplomatic relations. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, during a bilateral meeting, proposed increased cooperation and investment opportunities in maritime infrastructure, highlighting projects in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
