International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2025
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) of India is set to celebrate the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, 2025, with a series of awareness events under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The initiative aims to educate the public about the dangers of substance abuse, having already reached over 15.78 crore people, including significant numbers of youth and women. The program emphasizes community involvement and has trained over 20,000 Master Volunteers to facilitate awareness efforts across the country.
