Introduction of AwaasPlus App Under PMAY-G

The Ministry of Rural Development has launched the AwaasPlus 2024 mobile app under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) to assist rural households in constructing pucca houses. The app features assisted and self-survey options, Aadhar-based e-KYC authentication, and data capture capabilities. The initiative aims to provide an additional 2 crore houses from FY 2024-25 to 2028-29, utilizing AI and ML for fraud prevention and beneficiary verification. The AwaasSAKHI app has also been developed to streamline access to PMAY-G resources.
