The Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability through Upgraded ITIs (PM-SETU) scheme, launched by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, aims to improve vocational training through infrastructure modernization and industry-aligned courses. The scheme, with a budget of ₹60,000 crore, involves enhancing 1,000 ITIs and establishing five National Centres of Excellence to support training of trainers.
