IWAI Receives Infrastructure Honour at SCM Fest 2025

At the ET Edge Supply Chain Management Fest-2025, the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) was awarded the 'Sankalp se Siddhi Infrastructure Honour' for its Jal Marg Vikas Project (JMVP), which enhances the navigability of National Waterway-1 (River Ganga). The project has led to a three-fold increase in cargo movement, promoting sustainable inland water transport and river cruise tourism. IWAI plans to further develop infrastructure along the river to support these initiatives.
