Japan-India Maritime Exercise (JAIMEX) 2025

The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Sahyadri participated in the Sea phase of the Japan-India Maritime Exercise (JAIMEX-25) from October 16 to 18, 2025, and made a port call at Yokosuka, Japan, on October 21, 2025. The exercise included advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare and missile defense drills, enhancing interoperability between the Indian Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF).
