Judicial Appointments in Indian High Courts Announced
The Ministry of Law and Justice, in consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has announced new judicial appointments. Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, and Ramesh Chander Dimri has been appointed as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. These appointments were made by the President of India as part of exercising constitutional powers.
