Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana: Financial Assistance for Cultural Organizations
The Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY) is a comprehensive scheme providing financial support to cultural organizations and individuals in performing arts across India, including Odisha. Over the past five years, significant funds have been disbursed, with a total of Rs. 1,198.53 crore allocated across eight scheme components. The initiative aims to promote various cultural aspects, including the Guru Shishya Parampara and support for veteran artists. In the current cycle, Rs. 93.81 crore has been allocated to 1,735 organizations for the development of Buddhist and Tibetan culture and art.
