Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 Inaugurates with Special Train from Kanyakumari

The fourth edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, a cultural initiative fostering the civilizational bonds between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, embarked on its journey from Kanyakumari with 216 delegates on November 29, 2025. This 15-day event, running from December 2 to 15, will include various cultural exchanges and visits to significant heritage sites. Coinciding with the Tamil festival Karthigai Deepam, the event features diverse educational and cultural activities aimed at promoting Tamil language and culture across India. Notable initiatives include a vehicle expedition from Tenkasi to Kashi and a programme focused on teaching Tamil to students in Uttar Pradesh. The event, part of the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" initiative, encourages linguistic unity and cultural exchange.
