On April 6, 2026, a keel laying ceremony for Fast Patrol Vessel-4 (FPV-4) and a plate cutting ceremony for Fast Patrol Vessel-7 (FPV-7) were held at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited in Mumbai under the 14 FPV project for the Indian Coast Guard. These vessels are designed with modern technology, including AI-based predictive maintenance and multipurpose drones, to enhance coastal security and law enforcement.
