The Khelo India Water Sports Festival (KIWSF) 2025 was inaugurated by Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya through a video message. The event, taking place from August 21-23 at Dal Lake, Srinagar, features over 500 athletes from 28 states competing in various water sports. Mohsin Ali from Jammu & Kashmir won the first gold medal in men's singles kayaking. The festival aims to promote sports culture and engage youth in adventure sports.
