The Indian government, led by Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, is launching the 'Khet Bachao Abhiyan' on June 1, a national campaign aimed at protecting agricultural lands and promoting sustainable farming practices. Through collaborations among Krishi Vigyan Kendras, ICAR, and agricultural universities, the initiative seeks to address challenges like soil health deterioration and climate change by advocating for balanced fertiliser use, natural farming, and identifying fake agricultural supplies. It will also involve wide-reaching public participation and education for farmers across the country.
